Calico Libraries are delighted to be partnering with Citizens Advice Lewisham to bring you this innovative new advice booth at Sydenham Library.

Anyone from the community can access a direct line of contact to the advice service. Offering free, confidential, and impartial advice on a range of issues, including debt, benefits, and consumer rights. 

The booth contains an easy-to-use tablet that can be used to browse CAB’s Self-Help portal. This contains guidance on housing, benefits, employment and many other subjects, along with the details for local agencies and other useful contacts.

For any more specific or complex questions, the tablet can connect directly to a CAB adviser. The booth is fully sound proof ensuring that your conversations with an advisor remain private so you can have private discreet conversations when dealing with concerns such as personal financial or housing issues.

The booth is free to use and there is no need to book. The adviser is available between 10.30 and 12.30, Monday to Thursday; the directory is available for browsing any time during library opening hours.
